Error bounds on the non-normal approximation of Hermite power variations of fractional Brownian motion

چکیده
Let q ≥ 2 be a positive integer, B be a fractional Brownian motion with Hurst index H ∈ (0, 1), Z be an Hermite random variable of index q, and Hq denote the Hermite polynomial having degree q. For any n ≥ 1, set Vn = ∑n−1 k=0 Hq(Bk+1 − Bk). The aim of the current paper is to derive, in the case when the Hurst index verifies H > 1 − 1/(2q), an upper bound for the total variation distance between the laws L (Zn) and L (Z), where Zn stands for the correct renormalization of Vn which converges in distribution towards Z. Our results should be compared with those obtained recently by Nourdin and Peccati (2007) in the case when H < 1− 1/(2q), corresponding to the situation where one has normal approximation.

On time-dependent neutral stochastic evolution equations with a fractional Brownian motion and infinite delays
In this paper, we consider a class of time-dependent neutral stochastic evolution equations with the infinite delay and a fractional Brownian motion in a Hilbert space. We establish the existence and uniqueness of mild solutions for these equations under non-Lipschitz conditions with Lipschitz conditions being considered as a special case. An example is provided to illustrate the theory
متن کاملSpline approximation of random processes and design problems
We consider the spline approximation of a continuous (continuously diierentiable) random process with nite second moments based on n observations of the process (and its derivatives). The performance of the approximation is measured by mean errors (e.g., integrated or maximal quadratic mean errors). For Hermite interpolation splines, an optimal rule sets n observation locations (i.e., a design,...
متن کاملConvergence of weighted power variations of fractional Brownian motion
The first part of the paper contains the study of the convergence for some weighted power variations of a fractional Brownian motion B with Hurst index H ∈ (0, 1). The behaviour is different when H < 1/2 and powers are odd, compared with the case when H = 1/2 or when H > 1/2 and powers are even. In the second part, one applies the results of the first part to compute the exact rate of convergen...
